How Discounts Are Calculated

Sale Price = Original × (1 − Discount% ÷ 100)

Example: a $80 jacket at 25% off → 80 × 0.75 = $60, saving $20.

Stacked (double) discounts

Final = Original × (1 − D1÷100) × (1 − D2÷100)

An "extra % off" coupon applies to the already reduced price. 20% + extra 10% = 28% total, not 30%: $100 → $80 → $72. The calculator shows the true effective discount so you're never fooled by a sale tag.
